Commercial Legal Clinic

       Al- Murshed Center for Economic Development and Investment, AMC,  as a most outsatnding active NGO in Kirkuk province, is focusing on gathering and collecting all its abilities so as to contribute in defeating the most challenging phenomenon of unemployment which threatens the future of a huge number of the community of Kirkuk.
 Since media is a major factor that affects the daily life and the future of individuals of the community. Thus,  serious attempts in AMC had been directed toward  various means of media so as to drive AMC's ideas and objectives to various slides and ethnics of the society, especially the unemployed people  ,basically because most of them are spending very long periods of their daily life in watching TV programs.
For sake of achieving this objective, and at the same time so as to adopt an inititiatve to reduce the rate of unemployment in Kirkuk,AMC is cooperating with all GOI institutions as well as all NGOs all over the province and in neighbouring areas.   
- Within the program of Commercial Legal Clinic, AMC had signed contracts and employed three lawyers to deal with legal knots and problems that facing international and local investors.
 Lawyers’ duties include, among other legal services:-
- Offering legal consultations.
-  Representing clients in front of Iraqi courts.
- Assissting and facilitating in obtaining legal lisences from govenmental institutions.
- Travelling in behalf of the clients to other provinces, especially to Baghdad.
- Fighting corruption in governmental institutions.

        On the other hand, AMC used to prepare and present a weekly TV show on a local screen called “ KirkukTV” under the name of
 " Commercial Legal Clinic".
The show is broadcasted  live on Saturday 7:30 PM.
Within  the show  AMC’ lawyers accompanied by other officers of the Iraqi Institutions’ are hosted and they are all explain Iraqi laws regarding investment and economic affairs. Also they shed light on all obstacles that paralize the development of community.



They also urge people to get training, apply for loans, and start businesses. 
  Five shows of the program had been broadcasted on the following topics:
 Unemployment.
 Investment Laws.
 Labour Laws.
 Citizens' Rights and Duties.
 Government institutions' roles in employing and creating employment opportunities.
 Religion and Shariea's role on  importance and priority of employment.

                  On the other hand and regarding the same program, weekly essays explaining and clarifying topics  like:- Unemployment.
 Investment .
 Labour Laws and other relevent isues are covered in local magazines and newspapers.
